“ service was great and there was no wait for 11am on a thursday. they were kind enough to clear out a table for us that had chairs versus the picnic style table because we had some seniors in our party. the food was so delicious and huge portions! everything perfectly cooked with great flavor. the skillet had crispy tater tots and generous meat, the pork belly oinker was so yummy and BIG meat, the hawaiian loco moco was a giant portion of meat and gravy, and the classic eggs benedict was spot on. next time we'll have to try the ube pancakes and other sweet entrees! ”

“ Ube French toast is a must try here! I don't normally like sweets for breakfast, but the toast with fruit with the coconut ube sauce was very unique and delicious! I also got the veggie omelette, which was good. Nothing more different than other places. My husband got the loco moco, which he liked, but there was also a lot of rice in the serving. Another must get is the macadamia iced coffee!!! Sooo good, just a touch of sweetness. Overall, a great restaurant. ”

“ All I can say is.. this place is worth the wait! We came here a little before 10am and was able to get a table for 4. We ordered a taro latte (SO GOOD and it's non caffeinated) and a macadamia nut latte (tasted liike roasted nutty latte - delicious). Prime rib loco moco was simply seasoned and their sauce was not AS gravy as other places, but still good. Aloha French toast was AMAZING! I had to share with my kids so I didn't get Ube pancakes, but I was able to get Ube on the side to dip! I recommend sharing because it is quite heavy. The Ube dip...oh em gee, I drenched my pieces of toast in it! Next time, I'm going to get the Ube pancakes FOR SURE! ”

“ People rave about how good this place is but in my honest opinion, I think it's a little overhyped. Both food and service are usually a hit or miss! However, I think their food got better after updating their menu. This place is always busy especially on weekends and only takes walk-ins. You can check the wait time and sign up for waitlist through Yelp. Just make sure your party is there once they call you or else they skip you over. We liked their ube pancakes. They were really good! We usually order these to share for the table! Good serving size to share as well. I just wish they put more ube sauce on it bc once the top part of the pancake is gone, not much left and without it, obvi it's not as complete and good. My bf liked their prime rib loco moco. He enjoyed it a lot and serving size was pretty decent! While their prime rib tasted delicious, the regular loco moco was just okay. The patty is hugeeee tho, literally covers the whole plate. Definitely shareable! Their fried rice, however, was really good. I think you can upgrade to get fried rice for $4 and that's what I did. Another one that we always get is their kalbi plate. They give you about 2 long short rib pieces. It's a hit or miss tho, sometimes it's too chewy and not cooked right but sometimes, you get lucky and you get a good piece. I've also tried Porkbelly Oinker, and their pork belly were nothing like lechon kawali as advertised. It's not crispy in any way and it's very oily for me! But flavor wise, it's on point. One thing we won't order again are their macadamia pancakes. It's like they just sprinkle macadamia nuts on top and that's it. I thought it'll have some type of sauce but nope. The pancakes were also hella dry! They also offer different mimosa flavors and other alcoholic beverage options if you're feeling a little adventurous for brunch lol. ”
